My Favorite Part of a Wedding Day - by Alisha Miller

Portraits!! No question! I love getting to photograph a couple on the happiest day of their lives. They’re so happy and having so much fun! Portraits is also the part of the day where I get to have more creative freedom. There’s not as many moving parts and so it’s easier to find creative composition. I also just love getting to hang out with my couples for a bit. I’ve been so blessed to work with the best couples and I genuinely have so much fun being with them!

I know some people are going to think I’m a bit crazy but my next favorite part of a wedding day is  bridal party photos! Sure, there’s a few more moving parts but I love seeing my couples hanging out  with their best friends. And it’s so much fun to get to know them a little bit throughout the day. Bridal  parties are supposed to have fun on a wedding day, so I do my best to make sure that everyone actually  has fun taking pictures and also that they don’t have to be photographed all day, because let’s just be  honest, no bridal party wants that!
